Building on ground that moves

Almost nothing at Tansi is level. Lots run downhill toward the water or sit off the road at an angle. A fence built as if the yard were flat ends up with gaps under the bottom rail and a rail line that wanders.

There are two honest ways to handle it. Step the panels down the grade so each section stays level, or rack the fence so it follows the slope. Which one looks better depends on your yard and the style you pick, and we will show you the difference before we build anything.

Keeping the view you paid for

If your lot looks at the water, you probably do not want a solid wall between you and it. Aluminum and open picket mark the line and hold a dog without taking the view away.

Privacy on the sides and something open across the back is a layout we build a lot around the lake. Tell us where you want to be closed in and where you do not, and we will lay it out that way.

Check with the association first

Lake Tansi is a property owners association community, and it has a say in exterior work. Ask them about height, style, and where a fence can sit before you commit to a design. We build to what they approve, and it is a lot cheaper to ask before the posts are in the ground.
